Qixium Agent: connect local systems
Use local AD, PowerShell, CSV and SQL Server from Qixium.
On this page
From your process to your local environment
The Qixium Agent runs on a local server and performs actions for your Qixium configuration. It lets systems inside your own network participate in an automated process, for example for an AD account, a PowerShell script or data from a local database.
This is the existing, working connector approach. The Agent is not a new Composer; its configuration depends on your installation and the scenario you need.
What can you do with it?
- Read local CSV files.
- Run PowerShell scripts locally.
- Read and update local Active Directory.
- Retrieve database records through Object Builder, for example from SCCM.
- Read and write local SQL Server tables.

An example process
An HR change arrives. Your process enriches it with data and agreed rules. The Agent then performs the configured local action, such as an AD change or a script. You configure the checks and feedback for your process; the Agent provides local execution.
Before you start
Determine which local source or action is needed, who manages the configuration and which permissions are required. Check the installation requirements for your version before installing. Use a test environment first for scripts and write actions.

Want to include email in your process too?
Separate Qixium configurations are available for this; they are not additional Agent connectors.
