Arts en Zorg Groep automates IDU with Service Automation Suite
New employees who can start working on their first day without having to wait for accounts or access rights?
For Arts en Zorg Groep, that has been the new reality since the implementation of the IDU solution within the Qixium Service Automation Suite.
The challenge
The IDU process (onboarding, role changes, and offboarding) was largely manual. Various teams performed separate steps, resulting in delays, error-proneness, and limited visibility into progress.
The goal: a single, transparent, and efficient process with TOPdesk as the central hub.
The solution
Together with Scope4mation, a phased approach was selected.
Through integration between AFAS (HR) and TOPdesk Workitem Management HR changes are now automatically translated into actions in TOPdesk. Accounts, access rights, and company assets are centrally managed and tracked.
Result:
Fewer manual actions
Better data quality
Full visibility into status and progress
Faster employee onboarding
"We are satisfied with the collaboration and the outcome. Rapid and flexible switching was possible."
— Thomas Greuter, Application Administrator, Arts en Zorg Groep
The impact
After Phase 1, Arts en Zorg Groep sees the benefits directly:
Greater control over the IDU process
Higher interdepartmental efficiency
Reliable account and access management
Shorter cycle times
In the coming period, the process will be further expanded, including automated management of company assets.
