In recent times, an increasing number of articles have appeared in professional journals, news media, and government publications on cloud usage, data sovereignty, and dependencies on foreign suppliers. This applies broadly to government institutions, including municipalities, ministries, executive agencies, and increasingly within healthcare.
In light of these publications, we can clearly imagine that you may have questions about our cloud platform regarding guarantees, security, and long-term viability.
Reason: articles and publications on cloud requirements
The following articles and thematic pages illustrate how requirements for cloud environments within government and healthcare are evolving:
VNG – Cloud and digitalisation
Central Government (BZK) – Government-wide cloud strategy
NCSC – Cloud security and risks
Computable – Sovereign cloud for government bodies
Skipr – Cloud and data in healthcare
These publications show that cloud usage is not under debate, but that demands for transparency, supplier chains, and guarantees are changing.
Understandable questions about cloud platforms
Many cloud solutions rely on technologies or services from non-European parties, for example, American suppliers. In a changing geopolitical landscape, this raises understandable concerns about legislation, data access, and continuity.
From this context, it is logical that organisations are asking questions about isolation, architecture, and the degree of separation between environments.
Our deliberate choice: a fully Dutch platform
Qixium was developed from the premise that these questions must be addressed upfront.
The platform is fully developed in the Netherlands, fully managed in the Netherlands, and operates exclusively within the Netherlands. No components of the platform are delivered or hosted outside the Netherlands, and there are no opaque dependencies in the chain.
This makes Qixium a 100% Dutch iPaaS platform, where data, management, hosting, and responsibility remain within the Netherlands.
Security built into the way we work
As part of our ISO 27001 certification, we systematically address information security. Security is not a standalone measure; it is an integral part of Qixium's design, management and ongoing development.
This enables the platform to adapt to tightening requirements for cloud usage within government and healthcare.
Dedicated SaaS Instance as an additional option
In addition to the standard SaaS model, Qixium can also be delivered as a Dedicated SaaS Instance, if required.
This means that for a client, a separate, isolated environment runs on a dedicated virtual machine within our cloud, hosted in the Netherlands. Management and ownership remain fully with Scope4mation, and no infrastructure is deployed at the client’s site.
This option aligns with organisations that have additional requirements regarding isolation, compliance, or auditability, without compromising a cloud-based model.
Peace of mind and trust
By deliberately choosing a fully Dutch and transparent supply chain, Qixium provides reassurance in a time when cloud requirements continue to evolve.
This makes the platform suitable for organisations seeking assurance in cloud integrations, now and in the future.
